Stockley Park was the UK’s first and most successful business park. Situated close to Heathrow Airport in west London it is now home to over 25 businesses employing in excess of 8,000 people. This premier business park comprises over 1.4 million ft² of first class campus-style offices in a parkland setting, designed by some of the world’s best-known architecture practices including Eric Parry, Foster + Partners and Skidmore Owings and Merril. The park’s accessibility to London, Heathrow and the rest of the UK, being only minutes from the M4, M25 and M40, continues to attract and retain some of the world’s leading blue-chip companies including Apple, Canon, Hasbro, Marks & Spencer and GlaxoSmithKline.
Kajima is currently the largest shareholder in the Stockley Park Consortium, which developed the first two phases of the park. Acting as development managers for the Stockley Park Consortium, Kajima has recently submitted a planning application for the final phase of development on the park. Phase 3, which is located at the western edge of the park, has an existing implemented consent for 500,000 ft² of office and datacentre accommodation. The new application is for 750,000 ft² of office, datacentre, hotel and amenity accommodation, building on the original concept and adding in a range of amenities to complement the business uses on site. Phase 3 is less than 10 minutes walk from West Drayton station, which by 2017 will be a stop on the new Crossrail service bringing Stockley Park within 25 minutes of the City and West End of London.
