Kajima is one of the largest publicly owned construction companies, with a history stretching back over 160 years. Headquartered in Tokyo, Kajima has more than 14,000 employees with operations in over 20 countries around the world, led by Mitsuyoshi Nakamura, President (on the left) and Sadao Umeda, Chairman (on the right).
 

In its commitment to customer satisfaction, Kajima provides total solutions that encompass all aspects from the planning and design phases through construction, operation and maintenance of facilities. Our in-house R&D department has developed numerous new technologies and construction methods to overcome technically difficult challenges. Kajima held 1,170 patents at the end at the end of 2006.
