At the design and planning stage we evaluate: urban design, pedestrian and vehicular access, noise and emissions both during construction and in use, and general neighbour issues. Consultation with local planning and highway authorities and the local community is at the heart of our approach. The design solutions therefore emerge from a careful analysis of the site and its surroundings rather than from a set of preconceived design notions.
At the operational stage we make sure that we stay in touch with our neighbours and the local community and we are continually monitoring the performance of the building against the goals we set at the design stage.
